Hey there, I am Dr. Lauren Fisher. A General Practitioner with further training in Breastfeeding Medicine.
Many mums have a desperate desire to breastfeed but are not given the support needed to reach their breastfeeding goals. There is not a lot of evidence-based resources or help out there for new mums and unfortunately there is a lot of bad advice out there that can derail a mum’s goal to breastfeed her baby.
I know first hand what it’s like to feel guilt and worry that you are letting your baby down and have witnessed the regret that women feel when their breastfeeding path has not gone like they hoped.
That’s why I am passionate about getting as many mum’s the evidence-based support they deserve.
Let me help you steer clear of breastfeeding pitfalls
Only 50% of mums exclusively breastfeed at 6 weeks and 16% at 6 months, most preventable with early access to better support.
